I wrote this tune as present for Jen on our first Valentine's Day together. I like it well enough, but it was the first waltz I wrote, and I'm afraid it shows that I didn't play many waltzes at the time, and that one that I'd heard a lot was Brian Pickell's great "Sourgrass and Granite".
